In the last month, the Dominican Republic has returned nearly 10,000 Haitians.

 




Haiti's neighbours continue to step up repatriation efforts, with an estimated 7,300 Haitians returned in April, according to GARR, the Support Group for Repatriated and Refugees.

According to GARR, the Dominican Republic returns are a mix of repatriations, deportations, and spontaneous returns. 

According to the GARR, a total of 3,158 repatriated, 896 deported, and 3,246 spontaneous returns from the Dominican Republic have been identified at official border points. According to the organization's Facebook page, there are 402 girls and 452 boys among them.

Authorities on the Gulf Coast of Mexico said seven men’s bodies were found  dumped  on a roadway in the Huasteca region, according to an Associated Press report.
