The United Kingdom sanctioned Russian billionaire Moshe Kantor, who heads the European Jewish Congress and other prominent Jewish organisations, on Wednesday. "Our latest wave of measures will end UK imports of Russian energy and sanction even more individuals and businesses, decimating [Russian President Vladimir] Putin's war machine," said UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss in a statement.
